Tamworth Regional Playground

Honestly, this is one of those playgrounds where you show up thinking you’ll stay an hour and suddenly it’s been three. The mammoth slides are the real drawcard — kids loop back to them repeatedly — and the flying fox always has a queue for good reason. There’s a proper water play area too, which is a lifesaver in the Tamworth heat, so pack a change of clothes and don’t say I didn’t warn you. Shade trees and covered seating mean parents can actually sit comfortably rather than hovering, and with BBQs, picnic tables, and a cafe nearby, you’ve got a full day sorted without leaving the precinct. Suitable for littlies through to older kids, and the open grass field gives everyone room to spread out.
