Sitting alongside the water, this little spot does the job for families passing through Wilcannia or locals after a quick run-around. You’ve got your standard swings, a slide, seesaw, and a climbing structure — nothing flashy, but enough to keep the younger ones busy. Benches and restrooms are handy, which matters more than people realise. Just know that shade is pretty thin on the ground here, so if you’re heading out in summer, go early or bring a hat. The lake setting is genuinely nice though, and it gives the whole place a relaxed feel.
