Hallstrom Park

If you’re local to Willoughby, you’ve probably already heard someone mention Hallstrom Park — and for good reason. The playground covers the basics well with slides, swings, and a solid climbing structure that keeps kids in the 2–12 range genuinely occupied. What sets it apart is the bike track, which is just the right size for little ones still figuring out their wheels without cars or foot traffic to worry about. Shade trees do a decent job of keeping things bearable on hot days, and with BBQ facilities and picnic tables on site, it’s easy to make a proper afternoon of it. Throw in a soccer field and open grass and you’ve got enough space to keep everyone — kids and adults — from getting on each other’s nerves.
