If you’re local to Wongawilli, you already know this one’s a bit of a gem — the tree-covered mountains sitting behind the park give it that backdrop you don’t really expect from a suburban spot. Kids from about 15 months up will head straight for the climbing structure and slides, and the play train is always a hit with the littler ones. Pack a cooler because the BBQ area and picnic tables make it genuinely easy to spend a few hours here without anyone getting restless. The open grass field gives bigger kids room to run while you set up, and there’s enough shade to actually be comfortable on a warm day. It’s the kind of park that gets busier on weekends for good reason.
