Araluen Park

Out near the Araluen Cultural Precinct, this park is one of those spots that actually makes you appreciate being in Central Australia. The landscape does a lot of the heavy lifting here — red dirt, big skies, that dry Territory air — and the whole place is set up so most people can get around without too much trouble. It’s the kind of spot families tend to stumble onto when they’re already exploring the precinct and end up staying longer than planned. Not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be.
