Playground

Katherine gets seriously hot, so those shade trees pull a lot of weight here. There’s no playground equipment to speak of, but honestly the open grass field is half the point — kids just run, and parents actually get to sit somewhere that isn’t in direct sun. The basketball court gets decent use, and there’s a baseball net if your crew is into that. Bring a picnic rug and you’ve pretty much got the afternoon sorted.
