Whatmore Street Park Playground

Pretty classic local park, and honestly one of the better spots in Carina for the under-5 crowd. The sandbox keeps toddlers occupied for way longer than you’d expect, and the swings are solid for the 2-8 age group this place is really built for. Mature shade trees do a decent job of keeping things cooler, which you’ll appreciate on a Queensland afternoon. The open grass field out the back is great for letting kids burn off energy while you actually sit down for five minutes.
