Locals know to bring a handful of matchbox cars to this one — the car track is genuinely unlike anything else in the area and kids go absolutely feral for it in the best way. There’s a solid climbing structure, slides, swings, and a water feature that saves everyone on a hot Queensland afternoon. The shade trees actually do their job here, which you can’t say about every park in Carindale. Adults aren’t just stuck watching either, with outdoor gym gear, a bike track, and a creek walk that’s worth doing even without kids in tow. It’s a quiet spot with a lot going on, and the pond nearby makes the whole area feel more like bushland than suburbia.
