Vicki Wilson Playground got a solid renovation recently and it shows — the place actually feels like somewhere you’d want to spend a couple of hours, not just kill twenty minutes. Swings for the kids, decent shade coverage from the trees, and a BBQ area with picnic tables means you can make a proper afternoon of it. Parents get good sightlines across the whole space, which makes it a lot more relaxing than you’d expect. The bike and walking tracks right next to the Murarrie Recreation Grounds are a bonus — bring the scooters and let them go. Parking’s easy enough too, which honestly isn’t something you can take for granted around here.
