The flying fox here is genuinely one of the better ones in the area — kids queue up for it without any prompting. There’s also a sandbox for the younger ones and a soccer field if you need to burn off some extra energy. Big trees do a solid job of keeping things shaded, which matters a lot in a Queensland summer. Pack some snacks and use the BBQ, then take a wander along the walking paths while the kids do their thing. Good spot for families with kids up to around 10.
