Fitzroy Adventure Playground

Tucked into the corner of Quay Street and William Street, this is one of those spots locals keep coming back to partly because of the playground itself, but mostly because of where it sits. You’re right on the riverside precinct, so it’s easy to make a whole afternoon of it — kids play while adults wander down toward the water or duck into the Museum of Art nearby. It’s a solid central Rockhampton option if you’re already spending time in that part of the city.
