Lex Ord Park Playground

Locals with little ones know this park is pretty much ideal for the under-5 crowd — there’s a slide, swings, and a play car that toddlers absolutely lose their minds over. Nothing too elaborate, but that’s kind of the point. Pack a lunch and use the picnic tables while the kids do their thing, then let the older ones burn off energy on the basketball court or the open grass. The volleyball court off to the side is a nice bonus if you’ve got a mixed group. It’s a straightforward, no-fuss park that does exactly what it needs to.
