Tugun Park

Pretty straightforward spot, but that’s kind of the point. Tugun Park sits just a short walk from the beach, so it’s easy to tack on a surf check or a dip before or after you’re done here. The open grass field is genuinely decent-sized — enough room for a kick around or just letting the kids burn off some energy without anyone getting in each other’s way. A few solid shade trees dotted around mean you’re not completely cooked on a hot Queensland afternoon. The walking path makes it accessible for prams, wheelchairs, older folks — really anyone who shows up.
