Playground d Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park

Honestly, this one’s been left to rot for a while now. The basketball court and toilets are still functional, which is something, but the burned-out structures and rubbish scattered around tell a pretty grim story about how much attention this place gets from whoever’s supposed to be maintaining it. Not somewhere I’d bring young kids without keeping a very close eye on things. Walloon deserves better than this — there’s clearly a decent park hiding under all the neglect, it just needs someone to actually care.
