Malinya Place Park Playground

Tucked in beside a patch of bush in Wishart, this little park has a genuinely peaceful feel that you don’t always find in suburban playgrounds. The forest backdrop makes it feel a bit removed from the usual noise, which is honestly a big part of the appeal. There are picnic tables on hand, so it’s easy enough to make an afternoon of it with some food and let the kids roam. Bins are there too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many spots around here skip that. A solid option for all ages if you’re after somewhere quiet and a bit green.
