Whale Park Wynnum

Right on the Wynnum foreshore, this spot is a proper local favourite for good reason. The water feature — known to everyone around here as the whale bath — keeps kids entertained for hours, and the sandbox next to it means you’ll be washing sand out of shoes for days. There’s plenty of shade from the trees, plus covered picnic tables and BBQs if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. The walking path winds through nicely, so it works just as well for a casual stroll as it does for a full family picnic setup. Parking is easy, the toilets are actually decent, and the beach is just a short walk away if the kids need more room to run.
