If you’re after somewhere to just breathe for a bit, this one along the Sturt River corridor in Bedford Park is hard to beat. The open grass field gives kids plenty of room to run while you do absolutely nothing, which is honestly underrated. Walking trails thread nearby through the trees, so it works just as well for a proper nature walk as it does for a lazy afternoon. The pond adds a nice touch — something about water nearby makes the whole place feel quieter than it should given how close you are to the suburbs.
