Adventure Playground

If you haven’t taken the kids to the playground inside Belair National Park yet, you’re missing out. The wooden castle structure is genuinely impressive — kids disappear into it for ages, and the tunnel system keeps the younger ones busy long after you’ve finished your sandwich. It’s the kind of spot where a picnic makes total sense, with the bush right there and plenty of room to spread out. Suits the 3-and-up crowd well, with slides, swings, and climbing to cover most ages. Just factor in the park entry fee and you’ve got yourself a solid half-day out.
