If you’re after a park that actually thinks about the little ones, this Blair Athol spot does a decent job of splitting things up — younger kids get their own corner with smaller slides and swings, while the bigger kids can tackle the obstacle course and the larger slide without knocking toddlers out of the way. The shade coverage over the toddler area is genuinely good, which matters a lot come summer. Pack some snags because there’s a BBQ on site, plus picnic tables and benches to set up properly. The grassed area is solid for a kick of the footy or a casual soccer game while the kids burn off energy. It’s a straightforward suburban park, but the layout makes it one of the more family-friendly options in the area.
