If you’re after somewhere the kids can actually burn off energy without you hovering the whole time, this one’s worth the trip. The climbing structure and sandbox keep the slightly older crowd busy, and when they’re done with that, there’s a basketball court and soccer field right there to keep things going. The whole place backs onto wetlands and walking trails, so adults can actually do something useful while the kids play. Pack food — the BBQ and shaded picnic tables make it genuinely easy to stay for a few hours rather than ducking off early. Toilets on site too, which sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many parks around here don’t bother.
