Protea Reserve Playground

Tucked into one of Crafers’ quieter streets, this little reserve is basically a local secret for families with toddlers. The natural surroundings do a lot of the heavy lifting here — tall trees, birdsong, that kind of unhurried Adelaide Hills atmosphere you can’t manufacture. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables make it genuinely easy to settle in for a while. Don’t come expecting big elaborate equipment — it’s low-key by design, and honestly that’s the whole point.
