The gear here has clearly had a recent refresh, and it shows — the climbing structure and merry go round are proper crowd-pleasers for the toddler-to-primary-school crowd. Shaded seating means parents aren’t just standing around squinting into the sun, which makes a real difference on a hot Davoren Park afternoon. There’s a basketball court and a decent open grass area if the kids need to burn off extra energy after the playground. Benches are dotted around sensibly, so you can actually sit and watch rather than hover. A solid local reserve that punches above its weight for the area.
