If you live anywhere near Grange, this one’s worth knowing about. The flying fox is a big hit with kids, and the riverside setting makes it feel more like a proper nature escape than your average suburban park — good for spotting birds if that’s your thing. There’s a basketball court for the older kids, plenty of open grass for a kick around, and BBQ facilities that actually make it worth packing a proper lunch. Big shade trees mean it stays bearable even on warm days, which honestly makes or breaks a park visit in summer.
