Locals know this one as more of a neighbourhood secret than a destination park — which is exactly what makes it worth knowing about. It’s fenced, quiet, and has a proper baby swing, so if you’ve got a one or two-year-old, you’re not chasing them across an open field the whole visit. The salmon gums give decent shade, and there’s parking right there without any drama. Dogs are welcome too, so it doubles as a solid off-lead spot for the family pet while the little one swings. Nothing flashy, just a well-kept patch of Myrtle Bank that does exactly what it needs to.
