Sheidow Park locals know this one well — it’s the kind of reserve you end up at on a Sunday morning without much of a plan. The play gear covers the basics well: slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps kids in the 2–12 range genuinely occupied. Shade trees do real work here in summer, and the picnic tables mean you can actually settle in rather than just hovering. Parents get good sightlines across the whole area, which makes a difference when you’ve got a runner.
