Jervois Street Reserve

South Plympton locals are pretty lucky to have this one on their doorstep. The fenced playground keeps the little ones contained while you actually relax — there’s a water feature, slides, swings, and a sandpit, plus shade trees doing serious work on a hot day. Picnic tables, BBQs, and covered seating mean you can make a proper afternoon of it without running home for supplies. The open grass field is great for kicking a ball around, and the butterfly theme running through the park gives it a bit of personality you don’t get at your average suburban reserve. Genuinely one of those spots that works for everyone, whether you’ve got toddlers or just want a shaded bench and a walk around the path.
