Midcourse Reserve Playground

If you’ve got a toddler in tow and need somewhere low-key near the lake, this little spot does the job nicely. It’s a small playground — don’t come expecting a massive setup — but for the 3-5 crowd it’s just the right size. The West Lakes views are genuinely lovely, and the walking path means you can stretch your legs while the kids burn some energy. Handy that the shopping centre is right there too, so you can grab a coffee and make a proper outing of it. Parking and toilets on site, which always helps.
