Pretty solid local park if you’ve got kids in that 6–10 range — it’s fenced, which makes a real difference when you’re trying to actually relax for five minutes. The shade trees do a decent job of keeping things bearable on hot days, and there’s a BBQ area if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. Someone clearly keeps on top of the maintenance here, because it stays clean and doesn’t have that run-down feel some council parks get. The adult gym equipment is a nice touch too, so you’re not just standing around watching the kids.
