Mukanthi Nature Play Space

If you’re local to the Adelaide Hills and haven’t made it out to Woodforde yet, this one’s worth the trip. The nature play area is the real draw — kids can climb, mess around in the creek, and actually interact with the environment rather than just bounce off plastic equipment. There’s solid shade throughout, clean toilets with baby change facilities, and BBQ and picnic setups that make it easy to stay for a proper afternoon. The bike track and soccer field mean older kids and active families get plenty out of it too, and the walking trails connect nicely to the surrounding bushland. It’s the kind of place that gets looked after — nothing feels neglected or tired.
