The upgrade here made a real difference — this is one of those spots that actually got better instead of just getting a fresh coat of paint. It’s fully fenced, which parents around Austins Ferry will tell you is non-negotiable when you’ve got little ones, and the twisty slide is genuinely popular with the 2–12 crowd. There’s a decent open grass area for running around, plus BBQ facilities and picnic tables if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. Toilets on-site too, which sounds basic but saves the day more often than not.
