EJ King Park Playground

Right on the edge of the Hopkins River, this little park punches above its weight for families with young kids. The play setup suits the 3-10 age group well — nothing too wild, but enough to keep them busy while you actually get a moment to breathe. Sightlines are solid throughout, so you’re not constantly chasing anyone down. The walking path is a nice touch, great for a lap or two while the kids do their thing. It’s an urban park, sure, but the river setting gives it a bit of character that most concrete playgrounds in town just don’t have.
