One of Balga’s better all-rounders, this spot ticks a lot of boxes in one hit. The enclosed play area keeps younger kids contained while older ones loop around the bike and scooter track, and there’s enough variety that nobody’s fighting over the same piece of equipment. Dog owners rate it highly too — the fenced dog areas mean you can actually let your pup off the lead without stressing. Public toilets on site make it a proper half-day destination rather than a quick stop, and the nearby trails give you somewhere to stretch your legs once the kids are done. It backs onto bushland, so there’s a bit of green breathing room from the surrounding suburbs.
