If you want a proper afternoon out without baking in the sun, this is one of the better spots in Floreat. The shade trees actually do their job here, and with the BBQ area, picnic tables, and toilets all close by, you’re not roughing it. Kids get the sandbox plus plenty of open grass to run around on, and the walking trails through the surrounding bush give you something to do once everyone’s eaten. It pulls in a real mix of families — toddlers through to older kids — and honestly feels more relaxed than some of the flashier playgrounds around Perth.
