The foreshore path here is honestly one of the better walking spots along this stretch of coast — flat, easy, and right next to the water. Golden Bay itself is pretty low-key, which is part of the appeal if you’re after somewhere that’s not overrun on weekends. It’s the kind of place locals use for an after-work stroll or a lazy Sunday morning with the dog. The beach access makes it easy to combine a walk with a bit of time on the sand.
