Montes Park Playground

Recently done up and honestly looking pretty good for it — this little Riverton spot has become a solid go-to on hot days thanks to the mature shade trees that actually do their job. The basketball court gets a decent run from the local kids, and there’s enough open grass to kick a ball around or just sprawl out. Benches are well-placed if you’re there to watch rather than play. It’s nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point — just a relaxed neighbourhood park that works.
