The beach is basically steps away, so kids can bounce between the equipment and the water without anyone losing their mind. Grab one of the BBQ spots in the afternoon and you’ll be set up perfectly for what are genuinely some of the best sunsets in the northern suburbs — bring a drink and stay a while. Parking is easy enough, and the picnic tables mean you’re not eating off your lap. Good for all ages, but honestly the location does most of the heavy lifting here.
