Swings and slide

If you’re already heading to Canatara Beach, this little spot is worth the extra two minutes on foot. It’s a simple setup — swings and a slide — but honestly that’s all you need when the lake is right there and the kids are already worn out from the sand. The trail access nearby makes it easy to turn the whole outing into a proper half-day thing. Nothing fancy, but the location does a lot of the heavy lifting.
