If you’re looking for somewhere to actually unwind without a lot of noise or fuss, this place delivers. It’s a family resort near Thunder Bay where the fishing is genuinely good — not just “resort brochure good” — and the lake is right there. Kids have a playground to burn off energy while the adults do absolutely nothing, which is kind of the whole point. The shade trees help on hot days, dogs are welcome, and the owners seem to actually care whether you have a good time. Solid spot for families who want the outdoors without roughing it too hard.
