If you’re looking for a solid paved trail that actually goes somewhere, the Estriade delivers. Running through Waterloo and connecting to Bromont and Granby, it’s the kind of route where you can put in real distance without dealing with traffic or rough terrain. The path is kept up well — no cracked pavement or overgrown edges — and there are rest stops with picnic tables and restrooms along the way, which matters more than people admit on longer rides. The forest sections give it some shade and scenery, so it doesn’t feel like a slog. Good for cyclists and walkers, all ages, and honestly one of the better maintained trails in the Eastern Townships.
