Cratloe Community Playground

Right on the edge of Cratloe Woods, this little playground has a great thing going for it — you can let the kids loose on the equipment and then head straight into the forest for a proper walk without getting back in the car. It’s a genuine community spot, the kind that locals actually use rather than just drive past. The natural setting does a lot of the heavy lifting, honestly — trees, fresh air, and enough space to breathe. Worth knowing it’s accessible too, which isn’t something you can take for granted with rural playgrounds in Clare.
