Fermoy Townpark Playground

Locals know Fermoy Townpark well, and the playground is a solid spot for families with younger kids — the grass is kept tidy, there’s decent space to run around, and the pond nearby gives it a nice bit of scenery. The equipment itself — slides, swings, a climbing frame — is a bit dated at this stage, but it does the job for the under-8 crowd. A walking path loops around the area, so parents can get a few steps in while the kids burn off energy. Nothing flashy, but it’s well looked after and the greenery makes it a genuinely pleasant place to spend an afternoon.
