Midleton Playground

Tucked in behind Supervalu, this one’s handy if you’re already doing the weekly shop — grand excuse to let the kids burn off some energy while you decompress. The zipline is the big draw, though honestly it’s better suited to the younger crowd, and once they hit eight or nine they tend to lose interest fairly quickly. That said, it’s kept in decent nick, which you’d notice straight away, and there’s enough open grass alongside it for a kick-about. Plenty of parking, good sightlines if you want to sit on a bench and actually drink a coffee while they play.
