Rathmullan Beach

The beach here is genuinely one of the nicest in Donegal — clean, wide, and with views across Lough Swilly that’ll stop you in your tracks. There’s a small playground aimed at younger kids, so while the little ones burn off energy, you’re not exactly suffering with the backdrop. It’s the kind of place where a quick trip somehow stretches into most of the afternoon. Families with toddlers and preschoolers tend to get the most out of it, between the play area and the shore itself.
