Abbeydorney Community Playground

Small village, but this playground punches above its weight. The enclosed area is genuinely well kept — you can tell the community actually takes pride in it, which isn’t something you can say about every local playground in Kerry. The secure gate is a proper one too, not an afterthought, so you’re not constantly watching the road. Plenty to keep the kids busy once you’re in, and the whole place is clean enough that you won’t be brushing muck off anyone before getting back in the car. A solid spot if you’re passing through Abbeydorney or based nearby.
