Clós Spraoi (Playground)

Tucked into one of Cahersiveen’s quieter corners, this playground punches well above its weight for a small Kerry town. The pirate ship is the real draw — kids absolutely lose the run of themselves on it — and the zip line keeps the older ones busy long enough for parents to actually sit down for five minutes. Toddlers through teenagers all find something here, which isn’t always easy to come by. It’s kept in genuinely good nick too, and the surface holds up well even after a wet spell, which around here matters more than people realize. The views out toward the surrounding landscape don’t hurt either.
