Callan Playground

Callan does this one right — there’s genuinely something here for every age, which you don’t always get in a town this size. The younger kids have their slides and swings, while the zipline keeps the older ones busy long enough for you to actually sit down for five minutes. When they’re done with the playground, there’s a basketball court and a soccer field right there, so nobody’s rushing home. It’s kept in really good nick too, which matters — no broken equipment, no mess. Parking is handy and free, so it’s an easy one to just pull in and let them off.
