Gowran Outdoor Hub & Playground

Fairly new addition to Gowran and honestly one of the better things to happen to the village in a while. It’s got that open, spacious feel that a lot of older playgrounds around Kilkenny lack — plenty of grass to throw down a blanket and actually enjoy yourself without sitting on top of other families. The walking path is a solid bonus, especially if you’ve got kids who won’t leave the house without a scooter. Picnic tables are there too, so you’re not scrambling for somewhere to put the lunch bag.
