Kells Playground

Small but solid, this little playground does the job well for families passing through or locals wanting a quiet afternoon out. The swings and slides are kept in good nick — you can tell someone actually looks after the place. Grab one of the picnic tables and you’ve got a proper little setup for lunch, especially if you’re already over to see Kells Priory just down the road. It’s calm, it’s clean, and for younger kids it’s genuinely a lovely stop.
