Kilmacow Playground (KILKENNY CO CO)

Kilmacow is one of those villages that quietly does things right, and the playground is a good example of that. It’s kept clean and well looked after — the kind of spot where you’re happy enough letting toddlers loose without hovering over them every second. There’s a swing set for the little ones, plenty of open grass to run around on, and a soccer field nearby if older kids tag along. The walking path links up nicely with the riverside, so it’s worth bringing the dog or stretching the visit into a proper afternoon out. Parking is handy too, which makes the whole thing a lot less hassle.
