St Senan’s Playground

Foynes is a small town and the playground here is pretty much what you’d expect for the size of the place — nothing fancy, but it exists and it’s there if you need it. Worth knowing about if you’re passing through or killing time near the Shannon Estuary, especially with young kids who just need to burn off some energy. Honestly, the setting along the waterfront is probably the best thing going for it. If you’re local, you know what it is; if you’re visiting, don’t come specifically for this.
